There is no hinges or doorways or the rest. What you see is what you get. It is grey as smartly not white or off white. We offered this for our kenmore dishwasher and it match nice. No proper grievances other that the false description had really hoped for those incorporates as we're always was oncehing frosting tips and bottle phases and other small items... But took the gamble as we would have liked on asap.

The ultra-thin silverware basket used to be not helpful and did not let silverware dry in any respect well in comparability with the abates in the closing two GE dishwashers we had. I talked to Whirlpool about it. Their solution used to be, primarily, "tough." Great help....not.

I discovered this old-style square (and cheap) GE basket at Amazon. It works and fits completely. Thanks, GE and Amazon. Thanks for now nothing, Whirlpool.

The dimensions are 8.5" (length) x 7" (width) and eight" (height, including handle). If this subjects to you, the shade isn't white, however slightly a gentle gray color. Also, whereas the outline for this product says there's a hinged cover for smaller items, mine didn't include it. This is no lengthyer an enormous deal to me and on the whole this basket does exactly what I needed it to do. I actually have used it for just about three months now with no complaints.
